Catbangen Central School is the biggest of the nine complete elementary schools of San Fernando District II of the City Schools Division of San Fernando. Due to the distance of the Barangay Catbangen to San Fernando Central School, the residence of the barangay felt the need to have an elementary school for their children’s comfort and safety.
